Korea has been making headlines in recent years in the tech, automotive, and entertainment sectors. Korean brands like Samsung and Hyundai are globally recognized brands. People worldwide watch K-dramas and listen to K-pop. Like Japan, Korea has four distinct seasons — Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. The most popular times to visit are during the Spring (March-May) and Fall (Mid-September – Early November) months when the weather is ideal and the landscape is at its most striking.

While you are traveling in Korea, how do you note down where you've been to and where you'll visit next time? This Korea Scratch Map may be your travel companion in Korea! Some parts of Korea can be vaguely seen on the cover of the Korea scratch map.That’s so colorful and with detailed design! I can’t wait to spread it out! I believe many of you have been to Korea a few times and already visited some famous sights. Now looking at the Korea scratch map, I found that there are so many attractive places that I’ve never been to! Incheon, Busan and Daegu... I wish I will have more chances to visit them all later on.

The theme color of the Korea scratch map is light Blue, which represents that Korea is surrounded by sea and water. It borders the Sea of Japan and the Yellow Sea. Can you smell the taste of sea and cool breeze?

Let me scratch the part that I visited before… Seoul!

Centuries at the center of Korean politics, business and art have made Seoul a traveler's paradise. Seoul is home to some of the nation's most elaborate palaces and temples, including popular Gyeongbokgung. More and more visitors around the globe are attracted by Seoul's unqiue culture.

Seoul is so popular with Great food, Great view and Great shopping malls!! Traditional restaurants serving Korean barbecue and bibimbap (rice pot with veggies, beef, and raw egg) stand alongside Asian fusion cuisines in the restored houses and art galleries in Seoul's Samcheongdong district. Family-owned Korean restaurants, tea rooms and street vendors are the rule in Insadong, where you can get a cheap and filling bowl of noodles.

After I scratch off the yellow layer, Green land appeared. I successfully brought Seoul to life again!

Let me also scratch the "Must do" activity near Seoul - MBC Dramia, where I can wear Korean traditional dress and take selfies in front of historical drama location!

One of the best things I love about Korea is the FOOD! On the left of the Korea scratch map, you can see What To Eat. I immediately chose my Favourite Food - Gimbap! (Korean Sushi Rolls)

It is also worth noting that we could not see what’s hidden behind before we did scratching. For example, we could only see the shape of three circles before scratching; but three colorful sushi rolls with fillings afterwards.

We can feel how much effort Good Weather spent on designing these maps so as to keep the scratching maps mysterious. What a thoughtful design!
